About the event

In 2023, NHS England awarded a £330 million contract to Palantir to provide a new data platform. On 3 June 2026, the cross-party House of Commons Science, Innovation and Technology Committee warned about Palantir’s increasing presence in the UK public sector. The committee called for the government to terminate NHS England’s contract with Palantir, due to the company’s support of ‘highly controversial policies and activities.’


Join us for a timely discussion of surveillance, spy-tech, procurement and privacy. Our guest panellists, including Amnesty International’s Hajira Maryam and Andrew Feinstein, Executive Director at Shadow World Investigations, will discuss the place of big tech in the UK public sector.
