About the event
Over 200 journalists have been killed since the start of the Gaza war, an unprecedented assault on the press that has made it the deadliest conflict for journalism in modern history. With foreign media barred from entering, Israel
continues to target Palestinian journalists who show the world what is happening.
We are joined by Palestinian journalist and Al Jazeera’s Gaza Bureau Chief, Wael Al-Dahdouh, who will speak publicly in the UK for the first time.
Al-Dahdouh has endured unimaginable personal loss while reporting from Gaza, where his wife,
children, and colleagues were killed in targeted strikes. Despite being injured himself, he has continued to report,
refusing to be silenced.
